The Algogear™ PDS-1001-MD Profanity Cleaner & Delay System is ideal for managing unexpected «wardrobe malfunctions» and other potential obscenities. This easy-to-use system allows the user to avoid unwanted content with a simple push of a button before the content reaches the air.

During live events, the unexpected can happen. Broadcasters need to time-shift live feeds in order to censor profanity.

The Algogear Profanity Cleaner & Delay System is a video delay with several options to help you manage unpredictable live events. GPI controls force the program video and audio output to be switched to an alternative back-up channel. When releasing the button, the output is returned to the original live program content without any audio or video glitches. The Profanity Cleaner & Delay System also gives the operator the option to pixelize the main program in order to conceal unwanted images without interrupting the live stream. Proper audio and video transition is ensured with a programmable user “pre-roll” trigger reaction.

The PDS-1001-MD allows the user to switch the audio to a safe feed or fade to mute the embedded audio. All 16 channels can be programmed as safe video feed (ex: 5.1 audio switch).

For monitoring, the PDS-1001-MD offers 3 programmable outputs. The user can select between: Main Input, Safe Input, Before Main Delay and Main Output.
