Yvan Ouellet, President and CEO

Yvan Ouellet, a highly respected executive within the digital imaging industry for film, television and video games, has already contributed to the success of a number of well-known companies. Prior to his involvement with Algolith, Yvan was Head of Sales for the Americas at Softimage, a subsidiary of Avid Technology Inc. and the second largest provider of 3D creation tools to the entertainment industry worldwide. During his tenure, the sales organization he built consistently exceeded the company's strategic business development objectives.

Yvan was also co-founder and Vice President of LOR-TECH International, a systems integrator creating leading-edge content and production solutions for 3D, film and television. LOR-TECH was immediately profitable and consistently rated a top reseller in the Americas. Clients included TV networks, high-end post-production facilities, production companies, university research departments, game developers and National Defense.

A member of the Quebec Order of Engineers and 1983 Engineering Graduate from the University of Sherbrooke, Yvan's contributions to the digital imaging industry began immediately after graduation, beginning with practical, hands-on experience as Studio Engineer for the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation and shifting into the business arena with Adcom Electronics where he expanded its market into eastern Canada to become one of the its most profitable divisions.

André Lafontaine, CFO

Prior to joining Algolith as CFO, Andre spent four years as CFO of Goal Semiconductor Inc. acquired by Ramtron International in 2005. From 1999 to 2001 he held the position of Director at the Société Générale de Financement (SGF) where he led 70M$ in investments rounds in high technology companies. From 1989 to 1996 Andre started his career at Price Waterhouse, first as an auditor and then as part of the Financial Advisory Services. He holds a Bachelor in Accounting Science from the Université du Québec à Trois-Rivières, is a member of the Quebec 0rdre of Chartered Accountant (CA) and a member of the Canadian Institute of Chartered Business Valuators (CBV).

Barry Fairhurst

Barry has joined Algolith as Worldwide VP of Broadcast Sales. With an outstanding sales and business track record for over twenty years, Barry’s business experience as well as keen understanding of the broadcast market will be key assets in bringing Algolith’s business forward. Barry has held previous roles as VP of Sales at Digital Rapids Corporation following more than 12 years of successful Channel and Strategic Accounts management at Avid Technology.
